Mo Ghazi (PhD) is an International Code Council (ICC) certified inspector (#5240508) and ASHI candidate (#246715).  He has completed Georgia Association of Home Inspector (GAHI) 6 week-long Home Inspection class as well as GAHI 120 hours-long ICC code class.  He has completed over 1500 inspections including inspections of older homes (as old as 150 years old!).  He is also certified STUCCO inspector by Moisture Warranty Corporation (MWC # 1437).  Mo is OSHA certified in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).  Prior to joining HouseSmart, Mo had five years experience performing home inspections privately, waterproofing and writing estimates.  Mo’s PhD is in geology, he also holds master degree in Geochemistry and a BS in chemistry.  He has extensive laboratory and teaching experience including in environmental forensics (e.g., indoor air quality, lead, asbestos and radon).  He is an associate editor of Journal of Environmental Forensic and author of a number peer reviewed geological and environmental journal articles and book chapters including a chapter in Environmental Forensics Contaminants Specific Guide entitled “Lead” and a chapter in Introduction to Environmental Forensics 2^nd Edition, entitled  “Applications of Laser Ablation ICPMS in Environmental Forensic.”
